I am Nandini !

A Hindustani classical vocalist and 

a Thumri singer and Poetess who writes in

Hindi,English, Marathi, Konkani and Urdu.

I have always been inclined 

towards old classics literature and languages .

POETRY !!!! 

It is an ornament by itself, and can exist by 

itself....It has meter and yet some times it trots 

without meter too. Words co exist...How ?when we

try to use language that is attractive by itself and is

 capable of giving out two or three meanings....we 

can say this is poetry Only it should not be like

what we are reading now :) like a definition. Also,

when we are writing poetry, we can engage a 

reader or listener with the rhythm, which a poet 

had thought of when he wrote and always 

rearrange the sequence of words yet give out what 

we want to say and yes it should be understood ,and

yet we know statements are poetry too and mere 

sentences are not...poetry, plays with grammar

takes liberties uses words that are not in day to day 

use but which used to be in the past, enhance the 

meaning...and yes....poetry is a creation, it can 

influence others, to write compose, think and feel or

 even identify, turn towards literature and lot more
